A pandemic and lockdown hasn’t stopped us!

Lockdown may have prevented the follow-up to our Parkinson‘s pilot study but it hasn’t stopped us pursuing this new revolutionary journey of neuromuscular activation for Parkinson’s

The medical definition for Parkinson’s tells us it’s a progressive degenerative condition and the fastest growing neurological condition in the world!

We continue to see more and more new patients with Parkinson’s in our clinics with more and more amazing improvements in facial expressions, improvement in taste and smell, improve balance strength and function

One overwhelming observation is that we see a significant improvement in posture allowing the diaphragm to move more easily and patients breathing more effectively getting more oxygen into the body. Patients are more upright, taller along with improved neck movement, head held higher and the stride becomes longer and more purposeful.

Patients are no longer shuffling with small steps, neck flexed core muscle switched off and gazing to the floor.

Sustainability

We have been running weekly group activated exercise classes revising for all of our Parkineers who are dedicated to continuing with the self-activation treatment, belly breathing and keeping positive. All of them have continued to improve, some more than others, but all are in a much better and stronger position now, compared to pre-lockdown!

Now that in itself is awesome!!

Klem

16 weeks of self-shielding took its toll for Klem but no matter what life throws at us positivity breathing effectively, and muscle activations can help things around and… In just minutes look at this before treatment and 60 minutes later.

When we do the right thing, the body can facilitate incredible changes!

Neil Lamont – Table Tennis

Neil found incredible improvements in his table tennis during our pilot study, and as a result he has now got a robot to play against when he’s on his own and has also set up a table tennis club from his home, encouraging others to take up and experience the benefits of table tennis and friendship.

Self-activating of course before he plays, using his diaphragm and then his point of focus and mindset to not only overcome his Parkinson’s dyskinesia and motor difficulties, but to beat his opponents… robot or human!

Throughout lockdown, Neil has also continued his incredible paintings, selling more and more paintings and taking on commissions with all proceeds going towards Parkinson’s.

Look how Neil can now control his dyskinesia moving in a slow controlled effortless manner something not possible before muscle activations.
